About Wilco Aviation

We provide aircraft leasing and rental on an hourly basis — for licensed pilots who want to travel, and for commercial pilots in training who need to log hours affordably. Schedule online, get confirmation within minutes, and be ready to fly within hours of booking. You are billed only for the hours you fly.

Who we serve

Pilots who travel

Licensed non-commercial pilots who want to fly themselves where they are going — affordably, and without overnight restrictions. Take the aircraft for the weekend. Multi-day trips are welcome and encouraged.

Time builders

Commercial pilots in training, logging toward the 1,500 hours an Airline Transport Pilot certificate requires. Glass-panel IFR time in a modern composite single, at a rate that actually works when you need hundreds of hours.

Where we serve

We cater to the greater Orlando and Space Coast area of Florida, operating out of Space Coast Regional Airport (KTIX) in Titusville — about 45 minutes east of Orlando. The aircraft is on the ramp and always fly-ready.

What sets us apart

Pricing

$225 an hour dry, or $200 an hour for Pilot Club members. All rentals are dry rentals under FAA Part 91 — you are pilot-in-command, there is no crew, and fuel is not included. That is well under the published rate of the nearest comparable aircraft, a Cirrus SR20 listed at $380 an hour. Fly often and Pilot Club membership drops it to $200 an hour.

Online scheduling

Real-time scheduling, booking and confirmation, 24 hours a day. No waiting. No emailing. Book, confirm, fly.

Fleet

We fly the Cirrus SR20 — modern, glass-panel, all-composite, with a whole-airframe recovery parachute. The SR20 was developed into the SR22, introduced in 2001, and the SR series went on to become the most-produced piston aircraft of the 21st century. It is the standard in light aircraft aviation.

Become a VIP member pilot

Two ways to fly with us: pay as you go at $225 an hour with no membership, or join the Pilot Club at $200 an hour with no hourly minimums, preferential scheduling, VIP concierge on every flight, and bonus points toward free flight hours.

Bill Clark

Founder

Bill has spent 27 years building and growing a successful national business from the ground up. Wilco Aviation is him following his real passion — aviation.

He has flown out of the Orlando area for years and is a familiar face in the local aircraft community. He and his wife have raised seven children in Florida over the past 18 years. Bill holds a Private Pilot Certificate and flies under BasicMed, with more than 900 hours logged.

Wilco Aviation came out of something he kept running into himself: the gap between owning an airplane and renting a tired one is far wider than it needs to be. So he built the operation he wanted to rent from — a modern glass-panel single, a rate published in full with nothing buried in it, and scheduling you can do at ten o'clock on a Tuesday night.
